Advertisement for Proposal for "Concessionaire" to Provide Goods and Services to Patrons of Whiteley Sports Complex
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals from all persons or entities interested in entering a contract with Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation for providing food and beverage service as an independent contractor at Whiteley Sports Complex will be received by Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation, 430 North Second Street, Poplar Bluff, Missouri 63901 until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2024, as all proposals will be opened at that time. The term for the contract period will begin March 1, 2024, and end December 31, 2024, with an option for calendar year 2025, if both parties agree. Potential concessionaires may schedule a site visit with the Director of Parks and Recreation prior to submitting a proposal. Proposals shall include all forms and certifications required per the Request for Proposal Specifications.
Proposals shall be delivered to Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation, 430 North Second Street, Poplar Bluff, Missouri 63901. All proposals are to be sealed and endorsed upon the outside of the envelope with the name of the bidder and labeled “Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation Concessionaire Proposal.”
The Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation Board and its authorized representatives shall reserve the right to reject any or all bids, and to make decisions which they deem beneficial to Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation. Tentative proposal award date is March 1, 2024.
